PACE is a leading specialist centre for children based in Aylesbury,Buckinghamshire.
They do incredibly important work and help children and young people with disabilities such as cerebral palsy and motor disorders.
Our very own Nick Martin did more than his bit to raise well over £1,000 for them by cycling 235 miles around the UK. Nick would like to thank everyone who supported him and he was touched by the levels of generosity. “Dragging my extensive hulk around the country on a bike was hard going, but every time I complained about saddle-sores and being tired or warm, I was reminded about the day-to-day struggles that these kids go through and it put everything into perspective. The staff at PACE really do transform lives, so once again, thank you.”
Here’s Nick at the finishing line in front of the magnificent Waddesdon Manor, near Aylesbury.
Once home to the Rothschild family, it is now in the hands of the National Trust.
